You lookin' at me? These are parking-lot "trash birds" where I live, comparable to Common Grackles in the East, but I hadn't been able to get a decent picture of a male with my digiscoping set-up -- a black bird is always a photographic challenge, and the iridiscence is the key with this species. The picture also shows that the inexpensive Tamron lens can give a sharp image at full extension, wide-open. (OK, semi-sharp, and with a little help from Unsharp Mask... )
