A junco pair made a nest in a planter on the rail of our kitchen deck in early April of 2018. Eventually, there were four eggs in the nest, and then four nestlings; we believe all four fledged. This picture shows two of those fledglings facing off in our back yard fountain in early May.
The adult pair may be the same one as later nested and produced three offspring in our front door wreath in July and early August; Dark-eyed Juncos often have multiple broods in a season.
