White-tailed Kites, juveniles

From my driveway, Stanford campus

We've had a family of White-tails in the neighborhood all summer, which I thought was made up of two adults and two juveniles -- until today, when I saw these three juveniles together and photographed them from my driveway. Maybe I'll even see four at the same time before this family group disperses, that being the usual size for a clutch of White-tails. LATER: Only two days passed before I got my wish; from my photographed I saw and photographed all four juveniles in a tree very near the one in this picture: http://www.pbase.com/tgrey/image/164107118 .
