Birds - Bodega Bay, June 2004

Bird photos taken on a trip to Bodega Bay, on the Sonoma County coast in Northern California, June 25-28, 2004. For those who know the area, most pics taken up on Bodega Head, where the cormorants and gulls nest, or at Hole-in-the-Head or elsewhere on the west side of the harbor. Sunday was sunny and calm for much of the day, and that was when I got the best pictures. I was especially lucky to shoot a sequence of an Osprey carrying a fish to the large cypress tree on Bodega Head, and then eating it. Also a nice male Wilson's Warbler out in the open at Owl Canyon.
