Birds -- Bluff Top Park, Half Moon Bay, Fall 2007

Some of the raptors active in the field at the end of Poplar Avenue in Half Moon Bay, Fall 2007. The first full moon shot was on my early visit there at the time of the September full moon. I naturally thought it would be nice to catch one of the birds against that moon, and a month later I was lucky, photographing a juvenile White-tailed Kite against the moon just as it rose over the Santa Cruz Mountain foothills.
