I was 17 and lived 10 blocks away,...I walked to the stadium with 5 bucks in my pocket and looking for girls,.......Ran into a guy near one of the entrance gates with a stack of tickets and he sold me one for $3.50 in the nosebleed section,....but I got in and saw the entire show...They were amazing...will never forget that concert 'till the day I croak.

It's 9:23 PM on Tuesday August 23rd, 2011 the witching hour plus 45 years. I surfed your web page because I was there - Age 15+ and my first rock concert - and I'm reliving it as I look at your photos. Thanks for the memories.

Wow - look at all of those empty seats! I think there were about 12,000 of them at the '66 concert. My cousin Claudia, who was 17 years old at the time and living in Queens, never made any effort to see the Beatles in person. A few years ago I asked her why, and she said, "Because you could never hear them." My reply was, "Claudia, no one ever went to a Beatles concert to HEAR them."
