Texas has 254 counties, each with its own unique courthouse. Former Texas law required county seats to sit at the center of the county. Some counties with greater populations have more than one courthouse. Anticipating that it may take three years or more to do so, I plan to photograph the courthouses of all 254 Texas counties and provide here some information on the courthouses and the counties in which they sit.
