With rooms all set on stilts, you could be sure that they were free of bugs and other unwanted guests, a disappointment to me, but something that most guests would take great comfort in. Rooms were spacious and had balconies that provided great views of the surrounding forest. The dining room and lounge area were beside the Sarapiqui River, giving great views and often turning up good birds. Covered walkways meant one could get around staying dry even in the worst downpour. A great trail system gave one access to other areas such as the river shore, botanical gardens and other forest areas. All in all this was a very well thought out lodge that was very enjoyable to stay in.
