Murray Marsh is a Ducks Unlimited project just a few miles northwest of the cities of St Albert and Edmonton. Surprisingly, the birding community only discovered this marsh in 2005. Since then it has become a favorite destination for local birders, especially from St Albert and northwest Edmonton. Although no real rarities have been observed there (as yet), it has produced some locally hard to see species such as Wood Duck, Eurasian Wigeon, Whimbrel and Buff-breasted Sandpiper.

This gallery is an attempt to show all aspects of the natural history of the marsh, and in all seasons. With only a few exceptions, the photographs included in this gallery were taken at the marsh. A few common birds that I have not photographed at the marsh will be included, but I will attempt to replace them eventually.
