I found the insects at Savegre to be rather similar to those of my home area, Alberta, Canada. In fact I even ran into an old friend, the Painted Lady, that in some years invades Alberta in huge numbers. But then there were always reminders that I was in the tropics, like the beautifully lichen camouflaged walking stick.
