Imaged from Thornlands using a Takahashi 530mm FL f3.3 astrograph and Audine Camera. North is up and the pixel scale is 1.8 arcs/pixel. Comet was 2.45 AU from the sun and 2.68 AU from the earth and located at 23 38 28.8 -76 57 49. Image consisted of 92 x 60 second exposures stacked using a 2x Drizzle method, the image brightness was scaled using Dynamic stretching and in Adobe Photoshop elements further gamma and cropping was applied. The comet had brightened to at least magnitude 10 at this stage and in this image shows a bifrucated tail.
