During our visit to the Den Ya Kat near the summit of Doi Chiang Dao we were able to observe and photograph bird ringing. This ringing was lead by a Brit from the RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) who was training the local Thai park rangers. It was thought that the Black-tailed Crake was the first to be ringed in Thailand
