Plemont cave

Quite a few of you have asked me about
the waterfall at Plemont as a setting for
my portraits. This is the view that the 'model'
will have. The beach starts in the burned out
highlighted area. There is a cave behind the
waterfall, from where this shot was taken.
I tend to use the dark granite as my background
The main light source is the bright light from
the beach. I tend to keep that in my back, so I
will generally stand on the other side of the
waterfall, just about where the puddle starts.
The shots of Janice were taken from this angle.

I hope that this answers a few questions. ;¬)

This looks so simple. One light source with dark background. You need to have the eye for a shot and knowledge of light to be able to make the best use of it. Your cave portraits are amazing. Thank you for posting these on the web. Andy
