This is Kiki, a Parisien SDF with a fair few stories to tell.
I had the pleasure of making an aquaintance with him while
enjoying a strong mug of coffee. The weather outside was
pretty bad and this was taken using window light.

I was only a couple of months my Pbase journey when i first saw and commented on this. Since then i've seen a few shots like this including some from many great portrait artists but I gotta say - none are quite like this. Remarkable in so many ways

Kees, I remember this one from photoSIG. In my opinion it is your finest work. It reminds me of some of Richard Avedon's portrait work. Truly museum quality. Howmany times can I vote for this? ;-)

Great story here! Thanks for the comments. I agree with you. All those shots were taken in about 2 minutes. I was trying out my new macro. Which I absolutely love. I like the detail you brought out in this photo. Nice work with the tones and the sharpness is perfect.

The range of greys is very rich in this b&w conversion. SHarp and detailed, the portrait is well composed with a good crop on the right side. Love the smoke curves.
