The super typhoon Haiyan (in Philippines known as Yolanda) devastated parts of the Philippines totally on November 8th 2013. I visited Samar at Easternvisyas from November 22 to November 30. I was in the region between Guiuan and Hernanin. I'm shocked about the devastating. I hope the pictures will show it.

Please don't look to the quality of the pictures. A lot of pictures was made without filter and from a driving car.

I don't agree, that preachers fallen into the land like grasshoppers. I didn't also agree, that existing churches first repair her churches and illuminate it at night until people didn't know, where they should sleep and what they eat next day. For praying I must not have a church. It's enough to have a silent place.

With respect to the people I have only a few pictures, where people are visible.And by the way, in the middle of December I will have my home in this region.
