Taj Mahal

A note about this picture.
We were allowed a spectial "moonlight viewing of the Taj Mahal"
The problem was that we were allowed only one camera with the attached lens.
No camera support devices were allowed (tripods or monopods)
After an hour long security ordeal, we were escorted to the first viewing platform.
When the light at the viewing platform was turned off, all that was visible of the Taj Mahal was a VERY faint outline of the top of the main dome.
I could not get an auto-focus at all so I set the camera to manual focus, focused to infinity, 3200 ISO, rested my lens (70-200 2.8LIS) on a wobbely rail barricade that
the other viewers were also trying to use and snapped several shots.
This set-up was the only camera that got any image at all, a real tribute to the 1DMK3.

Canon EOS-1D Mark III
1s f/2.8 at 70.0mm iso3200 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto
