My Son - the sanctuary of Champa

My Son (means "beautiful mountains" in Vietnamese)sanctuary was a holly place of Champa people, a civilization existed in the area where now is Central area of Vietnam nearly one millennium ago. It was place of worship and the religious rites. It consists of brick towers with very special building techniques which until now, scientists haven't discovered how they did it. My Son has been recognized as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
