This deep image shows the vast nebulosity around the main feature of the well known California nebula.

The extra surrounding nebula data was taken with a Canon 200mm lens for about extra 20 hrs.
Color data was added also from a visit to the NEGEV desert.

The total imaged data for this image is about 50 HRS with various instruments and multiple locations.
