The Tulip nebula
The Tulip Nebula, or Sharpless 101 (Sh2-101) is an emission nebula located in the constellation Cygnus.
It is so named because it appears to resemble the outline of a tulip when imaged photographically.
It lies at a distance of about 6,000 light-years from Earth.

Imaged over several nights in June-October 2016
S2-Ha-O3 mapped as RGB
RGB for the star colors
Ha - 49X600sec
O3,S2 - 10X600 sec each
RGB - 30 min each
Total about 12.5 HRS
All images at Bih 2 = 0.89" per pixel (so 12.5 hrs at bin 2 equals 50 hrs in bin 1...)
