NGC 2736, ia a SNR remnant also called the Pencil Nebula and Hershel's Ray.
It is part of the Vela Supernova Remnant, located near the Vela Pulsar in the constellation Vela.
The nebula's linear appearance triggered its popular name. It resides about 815 light-years away from our solar system.
This nebula is a small part of a huge remnant left over after a supernova explosion that took place about 11 000 years ago.
The Pencil Nebula is expanding at roughly 644,000 kilometers per hour (400,000 miles per hour).(WIKI)

After adding the Ha data - I discovered the "Seahorse nebula" - just Right of the Ray..
