NGC 2264

Is an open cluster of stars embedded in a diffused nebula. It is located in the constellation of Monoceros, the Unicorn.
The image also contains two famous nebulae. At upper leftt of the image is the Cone Nebula, and to the lower right is the Fox Fur Nebula.
The bright star just above the center to the right of the image is known as S Mon
All are about 2600 light-years from Earth.

SBIG ST8300M camera with FW5 filterwheel and BAADER LRGB filters.

L = 90 minutes
RGB = 8 minutes each (BIN 2x2)
Total of 114 minutes.
NO HYDROGEN ALPHA!
