This tower is just about 5 miles to the SW of the farm I grew up on which is closer to the KVLY Structure...

In 1968 the first KXJB Tower was knocked down when an Army Helicopter accidently hooked the guy wires killing all on board...I was in the 7th. grade at the time...

The second one built fell down during the 1997 ice storm that hit this area with a third now standing..I was just by it this last weekend (11/15/08) and like it's older brother the KVLY Tower...both are standing tall and gracing the praries of North Dakota...
