Boats in evening light in winter

It was very late in the evening for photographs but I thought it worth a try - and these are the dramatic results! I am very impressed with the D70. I got a lot of grain - which I've tried to remove - and I believe the impact of the snow, moody skys and the beached fishing boats waiting for the morning tide was not spoiled.

This cold environment and the beached boats give an almost spooky athmosphere. Who is able to write a matching coastal crime story? Great gallery!

I think the grain adds to the nature of the photos. It makes them seem almost like paintings and I certainly like that. Very nice lighting..
