It's true;North Yorkshire is getting smaller,by the day.

Cayton Bay,North Yorkshire,England,UK

A newspaper article about the perils of Cayton Bay,North Yorkshire.Further proof of the local erosion can be seen, graphically,in my images, particularly see http://www.pbase.com/taggart51/image/73852679/medium.jpg.This is the viewadjacent to Knipe Point .That lump of concrete on the beach,in WW2 was a lookout post on top of the cliff. Also see.On the water's edge, can be seen a concrete block.During WW2 it was another lookout post on top of the local cliffs.

The bungalows are wrecked anyway aren't they, who would want to live that near the edge.
That whole coast down to Spurn Head is subject to erosion and silting at the same time I believe.
