Scooter riding:what folly?That's what I always thought,for 30 years on motorcycles,but RSI in my left hand has meant I have to ride a twist and go scooter,now.Its great fun.Handles really well,is nippy in town,lacks power on the open road,but will still cruise at 60 mph all day,thanks to that water cooled engine and still gets 100 mpg into the bargain.Did I mention that its comfortable too?Well it is.Far more so than any motorcycle I've ever ridden.Purchased in April 2006,currently mine with 10,000 miles on the clock.In August 2006,I rode to Scarborough;no trouble at all.In August 2007,I rode to Swanage.No problems.On long runs economy increases to 110 mpg.Insurance £105/year comp.I always enjoy riding it.
Owned 24/04/2006 -- 30/7/2009, 18,400 miles when part exchanged.
NNB - I should never have gotten rid of it.Since then,only the SYM 250 has been any good.8/11/2015
