The adjacent farm, is called Castle Crawford, but it's sole claim to it's name, is in that it was largely built from the collapsed masonry of the adjacent Castle Lindsay tower.

NB:Local rumour has it that William Wallace,the Landless knight's wife was from this Crawford.
