This young family are mid-way through a wonderful holiday on the South Downs Way.Mum,George,Dad Jason,Archie,Marigold and forgive me if I get the last name wrong--Winnie(I think),are walking the South Downs Way, from Eastbourne to Winchester, this week.I met them as I was returning to my car at Bo Peep car park.Dad Jason, was doing the manly thing,of pushing the double buggy, with rucksack on the top,and the children taking turns about, getting rest,in the lower seat.Mum, as you can see from the photo, has the easy task of carrying Winnie,in a chest holder.Try to imagine Jason's task of pushing the fully laden buggy uphill from Jevington to Windover Hill and again From Alfriston to Firle Beacon. And across rough ground.Truly,a Herculean task, yet I never heard him complain.Good luck to them.Winchester, their home town, here they come.
