Orion's belt

Collier Row,Essex, England

Just watched M.I.B. for the umpteenth time. There's something in that film which hits home.A certain je ne sais quoi;how can it be that such things could exist all around us and yet we wouldn't realise them straight away.Like the 40 days after the Cruxifiction. How could it be that Jesus would appear to people who wouldn't/couldn't realise who they were talking to ,or seeing. So it is with the night sky.I've taken a 15 second shot, first to show my nice new camera can do it,and secondly,to hilight the enormous quantity of satellites ,stars and weird objects there are flying around up there. Some of the points of light in the shot are stars;those of the constellation of Orion, are well known, but what is that red/white trail?Aircraft, probably, and I suppose, quite likely,as they display both colours of lights. But what about that one there?Sleep soundly tonight.
