I can still remember the excitement of the time.MZ are building a 500cc single,drop bars,Rotax engine,keeping the weight below 300lbs. using aircraft technology.Yippee!Then they swapped the Rotax engine for the 660 lump from Yamaha and the dream fell apart.As for the name;the sting in the tail was there was no sting in the tail.
