It is my intention to put infill to the triangular area created by the odd(in my view) design to the front fairing.Should one purchase a "skirt" to keep your legs warm,it attaches so as to do away with the triangular "gap" in the side fairing. As I can see no useful purpose to the "triangle" I too intend to fill it in.Putting a 45 degree "flip" at the rear,to blow any breeze around my legs. This worked, some years ago,on my XJ900S,so I'll be keen to try it on the SYM.
First tankful,running-in 72mpg.
Now,2/3/11;Fully run in,just running 7 miles each way in heavy traffic, after a full warm up,she's returning 74 mpg.
9/3/11:7days to and from work,plus a run to Ivinghoe,Bucks 75mph on m'way gives 82mpg.
14/10/12:Home to and from Wilmington,East Sussex, plus two days ,home to Wood Green,London, gives 92mpg.
