A rather poor section of the concrete road,which stretches for almost half a mile,up to Bowsers.My speculation is that it was installed during WW2,as Bowsers was immediately adjacent to RAF Hadstock.That,and there's no other reason I can think of for having,an expensive concrete road alongside a field,leading nowhere.
