How convenient ! A hole in the pond.

Collier Row, Essex, England

This swan has just lunged for a piece of pancake,tossed into the water,by yours truly.I love this shot,as it's just at the point of capture where the water hasn't filled in the "hole" where the bird's beak has depressed the surface.
