The Roman Road on Morgan's Hill, looking west.

Morgan's Hill,Wiltshire,England. view map

We can all get blaze about antiquities."Oh,yes, this is the Roman Road",when in fact it long since ceased to exist in reality. But ,in this case, here we have a Roman Road, section thereof, still on it's original alignment.Ok,the original surface will have long since, been lost, but due to the nature of the terrain, and it's regular usage, this is still as near to it's original form as we're likely to see.
