A south to north walk across Essex

Over the next few summers,I shall walk along footpaths and byeways,as much as is practicable,in an attempt to journey, across Essex, from south to north.Tilbury,is my start point.Sadly, sprained my right ankle in July 2008.Doctor advised against rambling until the New Year. So,I wore an ankle support for 6 months. The day I took it off in January 2009,whilst walking across some rough ground,I sprained my right ankle again. Then,in March 2009,I ruptured two tendons in my left knee.MRI scan on my left knee on Sat.16th May 2009.Now,to see specialist on 6th August. It's now late October 2010 and I've about 10 miles to go to finish the Cross Essex Walk.I've reached Church End,Ashdon.2nd November 2010;I've completed my cross Essex walk.Today,I walked from Church End,Ashdon to Hadstock, famed as being the place where St.Botolph had his Minster in 677AD and then north towards Linton,Cambridgeshire. The county boundary lies about 300 hundred yards from the village of Linton.I've done it,yet a more undulating section, with some sizeable hills,I can't remember.I walked the last,footpath-free section,to be able to say, truly,I did get to the most northerly point in Essex. No Identification Marker, but I was there.
