Welcome to my photo galleries!

I am fascinated with out-of-the-way places in Yavapai County, AZ and the Southwest in general. I may photograph a particular location because of its geologic features, its vegetation, or because it is truly remote and stunning. Other photos have an artistic side and I am sure you'll identify them. You'll also notice many photographs associated with trips I have guided with various groups over the years. It always a pleasure to show people the natural world around them. It is my hope that the viewer comes away from my photo galleries with the inspiration to explore the natural beauty of Prescott, Yavapai County and the surrounding region...there is so much to see and explore!

My current field arsenal consists of a Digital Rebel XTI (kit lens, Sigma 10-20, Canon 28-135 IS and a 70-300IS) and the Olympus C-7070 wz. Both are great cameras! I recently purchased the Epson Stylus R1800 and use primarily Ilford smooth pearl and gloss papers.
