This year (2006) has been the year for upgrading the house and back yard.

Starting with the back yard. We removed 13 pine trees plus a few other smaller ones. Traci and I (with the help of our neighbor Mark) built a retaining wall under the deck. Had three dump truck loads of dirt brought in, installed an underground sprinkler system and planted grass.

For the house, we replaced all of the siding and edge boards that were rotten and falling apart, replaced the roof, installed a new garage door and gutter system, stained the deck and changed the color of the house and front door.

The first few pictures show the back yard being cleared. Followed by the new roof and siding going on. Then our new back yard (with grass) and a retaining wall. And finally...a new house color.
