Yosemite's Elusive Light

A very quick trip to Yosemite to photograph
the famous firefall event on Horsetail Falls was
a bit unexpected in what we found that evening.
Still, we got quite a dazzling show.

AWESOME! It appears you had a perfect sunset for it. Where did you stand for these shots, near the picnic area parking lot?

Looks like you were there at the right time. The window of time to get these images of Horsetail Falls is short indeed, but you managed to get several with different lighting and moods. A short, but worthwhile trip!
