For a while I lived in the OTHER intellectual bastion of California, Chico, where I attended Chico State. I don't think Chico had half as much to offer visually as Berkeley - or maybe I just didn't know how to see as well as you do. Great photos. Dave

What a terrific gallery! This is really a weird walk down Telegraph Avenue. Your images are superb, almost Dali-esque in some cases. And your sense of humor shines through for sure. I keep wondering if I would see the same things in these shop windows as I strolled down this street. Somehow, I don't think so...

Carol, This visit reminded me of the following lines: "Let us go, through certain half-deserted streets, The muttering retreats Of restless nights in one-night cheap hotels And sawdust restaurants with oyster-shells Streets that follow like a tedious argument Of insidious intent To lead you to an overwhelming question... Oh, do not ask, `` What is it? '' Let us go and make our visit." Although nowhere as insidious, the images certainly beckon us to go and make a visit. Aloha

A very enjoyable gallery, rich of impressions and amusing, all the pictures are not casual, but carefully chosen, even though they don't show off.
