Very very beautiful indeed. The backlighting does make the shot. It brings out the subtle colours and tones. A successful shot, Carol !

Like a petal screen - this is very beautiful. The wonderful gradients of colour are delightful and the composition is perfect.

This photo establishes you as the Georgia O'Keefe of photography! It is one of the most unique images of a poppy that I've ever seen and as provocative as an O'Keefe painting.
