Same here! I remember as a kid riding in the car from Bakersfield to Sacramento and stopping at atleast one of these stands!! Thanks for posting this.. Plus, it's a cool piece of nostalgia
All through the early 60's while I was in high school we traveled up and down highway 99 from Los Angeles to Turlock. These orange stands dotted that roadside and were a hoped for stop to end the tedium of the trip. Thanks for the memory.
