Remember the fellow in the world red? Well, you do the opposite to this man, by stripping the image of its color in the background. As Anna says, you thereby emphasize his gourds -- yet he has turned his back on them and stares at the black and white world beyond. You art has taken a new turn with these images, Carol -- you are asking your viewers to think a bit.
