Wow! You really have a sense for the portrait, which is certainly not easy.
All of these say much more than face (!) value about the subject. I think your best is "Sense of Self". Fantastic!

I am quite taken with the portrait of Nana. Her face is a landscape of history. I especially like the lighting and the eye.

A varied and compelling selection of portaits -- each one goes beyond the surface and tells us more about the person than just what they may look like. They tell us instead, who they are. Thanks for postig this collection, Carol -- I would like to you see you continue to add to it.
