This gallery is set up to display Thayer's type characteristics either in HERG's or in potential candidates. Candidates can be either in the Kumlien's end or the Herring end of the spectrum. The larger dark/juv/immature gulls are included, although clearly not Thayer's they display Thayer's type wing patterns. These gulls could be potentially the so called "northern" HERG's, obviously speculation on my part, but I do to see a pattern emerging.
