to enlarge hit original. I typically down size the jpg to save on space, but did not in this case so if desired one could hit original ( under photo) and get an extreme close up. Only thing is you need to scroll through to find the bird. To go back to large, scroll far to left and just hit large.
Look at #4 in Suzanne's slide show; this gives a good view of the tail, which does not show the "j-hook" tip pattern one should have for an Ash-throated Flycatcher. Rather, it shows a pattern consistent with Brown-crested. And many of the Suzanne's photos indeed show strongly brown tone on the crest. This genus is tough (could be something else really off the wall), but I'll put my money on Brown-crested over Ash-throated.
