On the way to Tulcea, at the Danube Delta, we passed through Capidava to see the old Roman fortress and on to Enisala to visit the Genovese fortress overlooking the Black Sea. At the time, the fortress was much closer to the water than it is today. We visited the town and talked with some folks there. The town is right on the river.
