Sunrise on the Firehole River

It took gumption to venture out in the freezing pre-dawn darkness
and even more courage to navigate the icy trail to the river for this experience.
I wouldn't have missed it for anything!

I would have slid down the icy trail on my rear to get an image like this. A truly amazing shot.

Wow! Could have fooled me. The negative/positive sky shapes really do make it look like a real fire. Good for you going out and skating the icy trail to get the shot. This is just amazing!
