Another early dawn at Grand Marais harbor.
The lighting here reminded me very much of Terry Redlin art.
It's ALL about the light.
If you don't sacrifice to rise early to view the magic,
you never know what wonders you're missing. It can be
awfully painful to drag yourself out of your oh-so-comfortable
bed at the necessary hour, but the visual rewards
are a treat for the soul, as is the tranquility.
And right about this time, the birds start circling overhead,
as from their elevation, they see that the Great Ball of Fire
is arriving once again -- they love it.
Not to mention, they also see that Harley Tofte is getting ready
to head out, as he does every day,
to go out fishing for the town's daily catch.
