The painting effect is more pronounced
when viewed at a large size -- normally at
a minimum of at least 17 inches wide --
so the details may be lost on these small
resolution jpegs.

An original is around 100 MB for an 11" x 17" file.

Therefore these images are planned only
for making large prints, but will serve to show
some of the images that we think look nice with
this special treatment.

The effects applied do not attempt to
deceive the viewer into thinking these are anything
other than photographs (as hard a work as they are to achieve),
but some images result in an
especially interesting look, with smoothness applied over
messy natural details, and seemingly three-dimensional
texture rendered over otherwise flat areas.

Expanding on artistic flair, it's merely another option
to explore in today's exciting photographic world:
