We have this image available as a 16" x 24"
aluminum print and it looks very nice,
as though it were printed in glass.

While the subject is technically Grand Marais,
it's really all about The Lake.

Taken just after sunrise, with its soft, foamy waves
swirling around the rocks, the friendly seagull,
and the warm morning colors, this has become one of my
personal favorite images as being iconic for Lake Superior.

The seagull was curious about me and my tripod,
poking at least his head into most of my shots.
I think he expected me to offer him something for
breakfast. Maybe next time.
