I packed up and drove 70 miles to Napa Valley alone this weekend. As it turned out, it wasn't that nice yet this time of year (it was scorching hot !!). I wasn't early enough to catch the morning mist of the vineyards, i was going to wake up at 5am but geesh of course i couldn't make it :(....woke up at 7am instead, went through the Bay Area traffic and all that, by the time i got there it was already 10am.....i got lost a few times, ventured into strange places and when i got to take pictures it was already late.
i was hoping to see the colors of fall, but maybe i am too early. Will visit again 3 weeks later.
